



Complete ResultsNorth Dartmouth, Mass. -- April 13-14, 2012 -- The Springfield College men's golf team placed ninth of 18 teams at the UMass Dartmouth Hampton Inn Invitational at the Allendale Country Club over the past two days. SC junior Chris Vincent tied for seventh as an individual.
Allendale CC is a par 72 and 6,703 yards in length.
Husson finished first in the Invitational with a score of 310-319=629. That was 53 strokes over par. Husson finished just two strokes better than Salem State at 317-314=631.
The remainder of the team order was as follows: Elms (322-329=651), Western New England (328-330=658), Endicott (329-330=659), UMass Dartmouth (342-323=665), Johnson & Wales (341-326=667), Amherst (346-322=668), Springfield (331-342=673), Nichols (336-340=676), Babson (338-341=679), UMass Dartmouth Gold (343-340=683), Wentworth (347-344=691), Castleton State (353-341=694), Worcester State (350-348=698), Tufts (347-356=703), Anna Maria (358-351=709), Mitchell (432-430=862).
Among individuals, the top 10 included: Chris Berry of Salem State (77-75=152). Tied for second were Lance Bernier of Husson (76-80=156), Henry Fall of Elms (77-79=156), and Chris Hamel of Husson (78-78=156). Tied for fifth were Jack Wyman of Endicott (78-80=158) and Nick Zolotas of Salem State (79-79=158). And tied for seventh were Chris Vincent (Norwich, Conn.) of Springfield (75-84=159), Craig Farley of Salem State (81-78=159), Will Weimar of Babson (81-78=159), and Alex Zorniger of Tufts (82-77=159).
The remaining Springfield College players recorded the following. Junior Tim Vollaro (Somers, Conn.) tied for 36th (84-84=168); senior Tom Sangeloty (Unionville, Conn.) tied for 49th (85-87=172); sophomore David Hashagen (Morris Plains, N.J.) tied for 56th (88-87=175); and sophomore Mike Nowakowski (East Hampton, Conn.) tied for 59th (87-89=176).
