Whitewater, Wisc. - March 23, 2013 - Brittany Baglow concluded her incredible senior season with two more All-America honors on Saturday at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) Championships.
The Amherst, Mass. native was the lone Springfield College gymnast competing in Saturday's individual championship. She was sensational on the balance beam, finishing in a tie for third after recording a 9.500 to earn All-America First Team accolades. Meanwhile on the vault, Baglow placed eighth with a 9.425 en route to All-America Second Team honors.
Baglow also earned All-America honors on Friday night after placing third in the all-around competition with a 37.650, while teammate Abby Clark also was named All-America as her score of 36.025 earned here a 10th-place finish. Before last night, just seven times in the program's storied history had a gymnast earned All-America honors in the all-around.
This marks Baglow's fourth All-America honor of her career, as she also was a All-America First Team selection in 2011 on the balance beam.
The Pride sent a program-record 10 gymnasts to compete at the NCGA Championships this weekend.
