Lively, who shared the award with Caitlin Updike of Tufts, was also selected as the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Volleyball of the Week earlier this week.
In five matches, the Royalston, Mass. native totaled 70 kills, averaging 4.12 per game to pace the Pride to a 4-1 week. Hitting at a .269 clip, she also added 11 total blocks to bring her weekly point total to 76.5.
After leading Springfield to a third-place finish at the MIT Invitational, she was also named to the All-Tournament Team.
In the mid-week sweep over conference-rival MIT, Lively registered a team-best 13 kills in the win. In a sweep over Bowdoin, Lively hammered out 14 kills, hitting .476, before helping Springfield defeat Williams for the first time in five years with a 16-kill, four-block effort on Friday night. She added 14 kills in the Pride's loss to Tufts before rounding out the weekend with 13 kills, hitting .423 in a sweep of MIT.
