Golf Places 23rd At Toski Invitational
, Sept. 30, 2002 -- Springfield College sophomore Michael Regan
shot a two-round 161 as the Pride placed 23rd at the Toski Invitational at Hickory Ridge Country Club.
The Pride was one of two Division III teams to compete in the 25-team field. Central Conn. (576) won the event with Hartford (586) and Boston College (589) coming in second and third.
Regan, a native of nearby Granby, Mass., finished in a tie for 76th place with four golfers. Regan was follwed by Justin Franczek
, who tied for 85th with a 163. Chris Knowlen
(164/t-89th) and Tyson Briggs
(165/t-92nd) were one and two shots, respectively, behind Franczek

Head Coach Joe Eadie
Joe Eadie enters his 20th season as the head men's golf coach at Springfield College in the fall of 2012. Eadie is the head golf professional at the Fenway Golf Range in nearby East Longmeadow, and is in the process of becoming a PGA Professional.
