CORTLAND, N.Y., Oct. 3, 2004 - Springfield College junior
Alisha Miner (Sanbornton, N.H.) scored the Pride's lone goal as No. 9 SC fell at No. 7 Cortland, 3-1, Sunday.
Miner's goal put the Pride up, 1-0, with 1:58 remaining in the first half, but three unanswered Red Dragon goals in the second half broke SC's five-game win streak.
Senior keeper
Lindsey Pardue (Houston, Texas) made 13 saves in goal, while senior
Sarah Daly (Freeport, Maine) was credited with a pair of defensive saves fo the Pride.
SC (9-2) travels to South Hadley, Mass. on Tuesday (Oct. 5) for a 4:00 p.m. matchup with the defending New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference Champion Lyons.
