Young Finishes 63rd At NCAA Women's Cross Country Championship

HANOVER, Ind., Nov. 22, 2003 -- Springfield College sophomore
Meg Young ran
to 63rd out of a field of 213 runners in her first appearance at the NCAA
Division III Women's Cross Country Championshiops held this morning at
Hanover University.
Senior All-America
Marisa Clapp did not finish the race.
Middlebury won the national team championship, while Wartburg's (Iowa) Missy
Buttry repeated as individual champion.

Under Pennington’s direction, the Pride has recorded seven top 20 finishes at the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Championships, and seven top 15 finishes at the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
