Men’s Soccer Falls At Kings Point, 3-0

KINGS POINT, N.Y., Sept. 21, 2002- After a scoreless first half, Kings Point scored three unanswered goals in the second half to defeat Springfield College, 3-0, in a non-conference match on Saturday.

The Mariners were led by goals from freshman midfielder Ryan Eaton (Horsham, Pa.), sophomore midfielder Josh Wooster (Houston, Texas), and senior midfielder Will Corrigan (East Williston, N.Y.).

Sophomore goalkeeper Tom Bowden (Havertown, Pa.) made two saves on 11 shots during the game for the visiting Pride. Kings Point (7-1) goalkeeper Jarred Schwandt (Libertyville, Ill.) made four saves on six shots.

Springfield travels to Mass. College of Liberal Arts for a non-conference match on Tue., Sept. 24 at 4:00 pm.
