



Springfield, Mass. - April 13, 2009 - Jake Beebe was selected as this week's Pilgrim Lacrosse League Player of the Week after powering the Pride to pair of league victories.The Sudbury, Mass. product had another standout week as the senior totaled 11 points off three goals and eight assists. In the Pride's 11-3 win over Lasell, Beebe registered a goal and three assists. As the Pride picked up a 23-5 win over Mass. Maritime on Saturday, Beebe netted two goals and handed out five assists in the victory. In the game, he reached a pair of milestones, recording his 200th career point and 100th career assist.
Beebe became just the 10th player in program history to reach the 200-point plateau in his caeer and only the seventh player to tally 100 assists. Earlier in the year, Beebe became just the 15th player in school history to net 100 goals in their career.

Keith Bugbee enters his 30th season as head men's lacrosse coach at Springfield College in 2013. Under his direction, the Pride is one of the top programs in the country. Bugbee's coaching record stands at an impressive 317-149 (.680 winning percentage). Read more.
