The postseason awards have poured in for the Enfield, Conn. native, who was the anchor to Springfield's defense this season. A New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-Conference First Team selection, Price was picked to play in the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl, as well as a NEWISA All-New England First Team honoree. She was also selected to the NSCAA All-New England First Team.
This season, the Pride owned a 15-5 record this year and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in six years. Springfield won its first NEWMAC regular season title outright and second NEWMAC Tournament Championship in the past three years.
This season, Price led a Springfield defense that finished the year with 10 shutouts. A physical defender, Price added a goal and two assists this year as she appeared in all 20 games.
Of the 41 players recognized to the three All-America teams, 26 are seniors, with nine juniors, five sophomores and only one freshman. The players will be honored at the annual All-America Luncheon, to be held at the Hilton Baltimore Hotel on Saturday, Jan. 15, as part of the 2011 NSCAA Convention.
