



Springfield, Mass. - August 23, 2012 - The Springfield College women's lacrosse team was recognized as a 2012 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Squad for their success in the classroom last year.To qualify for recognition, teams had to have achieved a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or above for the 2011-2012 academic year. Sixteen of the teams that participated in the 2012 NCAA Championship were named Academic Squads.
The Pride was one of 61 teams from across the nation to earn the honor. Including Springfield, the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) had five teams recognized, including MIT, Mount Holyoke, Wheaton, and Wellesley.


Kristen Mullady ‘00, enters her fourth season as the head women’s lacrosse coach at Springfield College. A former standout for Springfield’s women’s lacrosse team, Mullady led Springfield to the NEWMAC Championship in 2012. Read more.
