Lydia Grant (Granby, Conn.) scored the game-winning goal three minutes into overtime to give the 10th-ranked Pride a 2-1 win in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) match this afternoon at Clark Field.

Brianne Tompkins (Stromville, N.Y.) found the cage just 54 seconds into the second frame to give the Pride a 1-0 advantage. The Lyons evened the score when junior
Mary Alice Capello (Newton, Mas.) scored with 20:48 left in the second half.
Springfield junior goalkeeper
Lindsay Pardue (Houston, Texas) made seven saves in the game.
The Pride move to 9-5 on the season and remain perfect in the NEWMAC at 4-0. Wheaton falls to 6-7 (0-3 NEWMAC).
