Team IMPACT's mission is to improve the quality of life for children facing life-threatening and chronic illness by establishing and expanding vibrant team-based support networks. Through the power of teamwork, these courageous kids are provided a cherished diversion from their medical realities and benefit greatly from an unparalleled support system.

Luke, an 8-year-old from South Hadley, Mass., was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), the most common form of cancer found in children, in February of 2011. Since his diagnosis, Luke has undergone three years of treatment, which have included many rounds of chemotherapy.

The Springfield College football program is thrilled to have this opportunity to have Luke join the team and welcomes anyone who wishes to attend the official draft and celebration on Thursday afternoon.
