Baseball's Home Opener Against WPI on Saturday Postponed

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – March 21, 2008 - The Springfield College baseball team's doubleheader against WPI on Saturday has been postponed due to poor field conditions at Berry-Allen Field.

The games, which were the Pride's home-opener and conference-opener, have been postponed to Sunday, March 30th. First pitch is slated for 12:00 pm.

Head Coach Mark Simeone

Former Springfield College standout Mark Simeone will enter his 17th season as the head baseball coach at his alma mater in 2013 . The reigning NEWMAC Coach of the year is coming off a successful 2012 campaign in which the Pride went 20-15. Read more.
