No. 10 Wrestling Finishes 2-2 At NECCWA Dual Championship

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., January 25, 2003 – Springfield College senior
Keith Poloskey (Middle Island, N.Y.) won all four of his matches, and lead the Pride as they finished the New England College Conference Wrestling Association (NECCWA) Dual Meet Championship with a 2-2 record on-route to an 11th place finish in the contest at the Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut.
The Pride defeated MIT in the 1st round consolation match by a total score of 38-6. Later on in the event, Springfield also defeated Southern Maine, 39-12.
After today’s event, the Pride move to 11-5 on the season and will next be competing at Williams College on Wednesday, January 29, at 7:30 p.m.

Jason Holder will enter his second season as head wrestling coach in 2012. Holder had a standout first season at the helm of the Pride, leading Springfield to the NEWA Duals Championship and taking three wrestlers to the NCAA Championships.
