Webb Selected as the NEWMAC Softball Player of the Week

- Springfield College first-year Jenna Webb
was selected as the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Softball Player of the Week after a standout first week for the Pride.
A rookie outfielder from Harrison, N.Y., Webb had a standout opening week to begin in collegiate career as she batted a team-best .538 for the Pride at the Rebel Games.
Appearing in all eight games, she produced 14 hits and 11 RBI to go along with her slugging percentage of .769. Her week was highlighted by a 4-for-4 performance in a win over Endicott as she registered five RBI.
Head Coach Julie Perrelli
enters her fifth season at the helm of the Springfield College softball program and as an assistant professor of physical education. Coming off her first ever NEWMAC title and a NCAA berth she has compiled a 102-69 mark with a .590 winning percentage. Read more
