



Complete ResultsSpringfield, Mass. -- November 12, 2011 -- The Springfield College women's swimming & diving team handled its counterparts from Smith College this afternoon, 164-123, at SC's Art Linkletter Natatorium.
With the victory, Springfield is now 2-1 on the season.
SC sophomore Kellie Pennington won a pair of events -- the 200-yard freestyle in 2:00.09, and the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:31.16.
Jennifer Thompson of Springfield finished first in 1-meter diving with 251.15 points, and in 3-meter diving with 273.20 points. Thompson qualified for the nationals with that 3-meter score. She had earlier in the season qualified on the 1-meter board.
Other winners for the Pride this afternoon included Bre Harrington in the 100-yard back (1:05.76), Caroline Kosciusko in the 100-yard breast (1:12.47), Kelsey Poole in the 200-yard fly (2:18.67) and the 200-yard back (2:15.96), Jaclyn Van Waalwijk in the 50-yard free (26.41), and Kaitlin Reilly in the 100-yard free (56.04).
MacKenzie Bradley of Smith captured the 1000-yard free in 11:02.21.
