-- October 23, 2004 – Springfield College junior Alisha Miner (Sanbornton, N.H.)
scored two goals to propel the Pride past MIT, 5-0, in New England Women’s and Men’s field hockey action this afternoon on Benedum Field.
SC (15-3, 7-0 NEWMAC) opened the scoring nine minutes into the first half with a goal from junior Amber Paradee (Sheldon, Vt.)
off a feed from senior Lydia Grant (Granby, Conn.)
Miner would then net her first goal of the game three minutes later. Senior Kim Stevens (Knox, Maine)

Freshman Eileen Jenkins (Gorham, Maine)
registered the only goal of the second half for the Pride, which was her first-career tally.
Senior Lindsey Pardue (Houston, Texas)
