Fowler Selected as NEWMAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

Emily Fowler Boston, Mass. - April 14, 2014 - Springfield College's Emily Fowler (Branford, Conn.) was selected as the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week on Monday following a pair of standout performances.

Fowler had a standout week for the Pride as she paced Springfield to a pair of league wins. In a week in which Springfield averaged 19 goals per game, the Applied Exercise Science major netted 10 goals en route to 12 points. The highlight of her week came in the Prides 21-15 victory over Mount Holyoke when she poured in 8 goals.

Springfield will play a critical league game on Tuesday when it travels to clash with Wheaton at 7:00 pm
