Middlebury, Vt. - November 22, 2009 - The Springfield College women's swimming and diving team fell to Middlebury College, 149.5-132.5, on Sunday afternoon in its second meet of the weekend.
Kaitlin Reilly continued to swim well for Springfield as she won a trio of individual events on the afternoon. The sophomore won the 50 fly in 27.37, and was also victorious in the 100 fly with a time of 1:01.27. Reilly also cruised to victory in the 100 free in 54.82.
Aimee Doe also earned a win in the pool as she touched first in the 200 free with a time of 1:59.61. Meg Cooney also finished second in a pair of events, placing right behind the winner in the 50 backstroke (30.49) and the 100 backstroke (1:05.02).
On the one-meter board, Springfield took the top four spots, with Courtney Keefe leading the way with her national-qualifying mark of 247.65. Teammate Michelle Reggio won the three-meter with a score of 253.50.
After a busy weekend, Springfield will not compete again until it heads to the Harold Anderson Invitational on December 4-5 at the University of Rhode Island.
