Desrocher Eighth On Balance Beam At NCGAs

EAU CLAIRE, Wisc., March 29, 2003-- Springfield College senior
Holly Desrocher (Methuen, Mass.) reached the finals and placed eighth on the balance beam at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) Division III National Championships this weekend.
Desrocher was one of three individuals that SC sent to the national championships.
SC sophomore
Jolene Woznicki (Warren, Conn.) was 31st on the balance beam (8.875) and junior
Jenny Romano-Joseph (Shutesbury, Mass.) was 41st on the vault (8.700).
At the conclusion of the championships, the NCGA announced that SC senior
Jenna Prothers (Amherst, Mass.) was one of 24 individuals to earn Scholar All-American honors.
