Greenstein Selected To Play In NEWISA Senior Bowl

Erin Greenstein Springfield, Mass. - November 20, 2012 - Senior Erin Greenstein was chosen to represent the Springfield College women's soccer team in the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl.

The game is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 2th at Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass.

Head coaches voted to determine the players that are invited to the event, which combines the top seniors from NCAA Division I, II, and III institutions around New England. Greenstein was one of 21 Division III players selected to play, and one of three goalkeepers.

Greenstein has played every minute in goal this year for Springfield and owned a 13-5-2 record as she picked up her second-straight New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-Conference First Team honor. The Framingham, Mass. native posted nine shutouts this season, bringing her program record to 29 for her career. She tallied 66 saves this year to go along with a goal against average of .59.
