Springfield, Mass. – February 3, 2008 --Air Force senior Greg Stine (Houston, Texas) won the all around competition with a score of 87.050, capturing first place in every event except the pommel horse, in leading his 16th-ranked Air Force Academy to victory over 17th-ranked Springfield College, 337.500 to 333.000, this afternoon in Blake Arena.

The 333.000 score far surpassed Springfield's best team score of the year to date.

Stine was very impressive in the meet, and especially good on the rings, posting a single-event meet-high score of 15.600. Air Force also put distance between itself and Springfield on the vault where it took the top three spots.

Teammate Dan Klimkowski (China, Mich.) finished second in the all around competition with a tally of 83.400. Klimkowski had second place finishes on the pommel horse and the parallel bars, and a third place finish on the horizontal bar.

Springfield freshman Josh Fox (Ellicott City, Md.) finished third in the all around competition with a mark of 78.800. Fox’s day was highlighted by a second-place finish on the floor exercise with a 14.150.

Other contributors for the Pride included senior Matt Davis (Southboro, Mass.) who won the pommel horse; sophomore Keith Stumpf (Williamsville, N.Y.), who finished tied for second on the floor with Fox; and senior JJ Ferreira (Naugatuck, Conn.).
