Springfield, January 28, 2009 - Due to a winter storm that has hit Massachusetts on Wednesday, the Springfield College women's basketball game against Clark scheduled for 5:30 pm has been postponed to Thursday evening. The game will now take place Thursday at 5:30 pm in Blake Arena.As for the other events scheduled for Wednesday evening, both the men's basketball game and the wrestling meet will go on as scheduled. The wrestling squad will take on Norwich at 7:00 pm in Dana Gymnasium, while the men's basketball team takes on Wheaton at 7:30 in Blake Arena.
Entering her 22nd season as head coach in 2012-13, Naomi Graves has directed her squads to an impressive 306-156 record (.662 winning percentage) since joining the Division III ranks in 1995. Graves has led the Pride to 12 post-season bids in the past 17 years, including five berths in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
