



Springfield, Mass. - April 4, 2011 - Junior Jarrid Johnson was selected as the Pilgrim Lacrosse League Player of the Week after playing a major role in Springfield's two victories last week.Johnson led Springfield to a pair of victories this week as the Pride has now won its last three contests. The Orlando, Fla. native registered six goals, including a game-winner and added an assist out of the midfield. In Springfield’s exciting 12-11 victory over Bowdoin, the junior had three goals and one assist, including the game-winner with 36 seconds left. On Saturday, in the 18-6 win over Babson at Stagg Field, Johnson netted three goals, including a man-up strike.

Keith Bugbee enters his 30th season as head men's lacrosse coach at Springfield College in 2013. Under his direction, the Pride is one of the top programs in the country. Bugbee's coaching record stands at an impressive 317-149 (.680 winning percentage). Read more.
