



Springfield, Mass. - March 1, 2012 - The Springfield College women's lacrosse season-opener against Western New England set for Thursday (March 1) at 4:00 p.m. has been postponed because of snow.The contest will be made up starting at the same time on Monday (March 5) at Golden Bear Stadium.
Last season, Meghan Flanagan tallied three goals and an assist as the Pride broke open a 5-5 tie with the first seven goals of the second half to topple Western New England, 12-7.
Head coach Kristen Mullady enters her third season at the helm of the Pride and is coming off a strong 2011 campaign in which Springfield won the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) regular season championship.


Kristen Mullady ‘00, enters her fourth season as the head women’s lacrosse coach at Springfield College. A former standout for Springfield’s women’s lacrosse team, Mullady led Springfield to the NEWMAC Championship in 2012. Read more.
