A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Reggio has been sensational in her sophomore campaign. In the Pride's 165-135 victory over Wheaton on Saturday, Reggio recorded national qualifying scores on both boards.
Reggio captured first place on the 1-meter board, as she registered a national-qualifying score of 257.17. Although not scoring in the event, Reggio recorded the top score on the 3-meter as she scored a 255.08, her second national qualifying score of the afternoon.
She will be making her second-consecutive trip to the NCAA Championships, as she competed in them last season as a freshman. In her inaugural collegiate season, she placed 21st in the country on the 3-meter board with a score of 333.45.
Reggio and the Pride will return to action beginning on Friday, November 30, when they participate in the ECAC's on Long Island.
