Babson Park, Mass. - November 6, 2012 - Springfield College sophomore Jack Lewis was recognized as the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Diver of the Week.For the first time in his young career, Lewis qualified for nationals in a tri-meet setting on Saturday with Coast Guard and URI. On the one-meter board, the Durham, N.H. product took first and qualified for nationals with a 275.70. He placed second on the three-meter with a 275.20.
Two weeks ago, he won the one-meter competition against Holy Cross with a 273.75.
John Taffe enters his 24th season in 2012-2013 as the head coach of the men's and women's swimming teams at Springfield College. Under Taffe’s leadership, the Pride has returned to its status as one of the best collegiate swimming and diving programs in Division III. Read more.
