Tthe Burlington, Connecticut native tallied three of the Pride’s four goals in its first two games of the 2007 campaign. In Springfield’s 2-1 loss to Western New England in the season opener, Distasio found the back of net for the Pride’s lone goal.
In its first win of the season, the Pride was paced by a pair of Distasio goals in the 3-1 win over Westfield State the following day. Distasio sparked a three-unanswered goal run in the second half, including the game tying goal and an insurance goal, en route to the Pride’s victory.
