Men's Cross Country Fourth At NEWMAC Championship
WORCESTER, Mass., Nov. 1, 2003 – Springfield College junior
Patrick Derocco (Utica, N.Y.) placed 19th (27:39) to lead the Pride to a fourth place finish out of seven teams at the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Cross Country Championship held at Hillside Park in Boylston, Mass. this afternoon.

Eric Peloquin (Thompson, Conn.) finished 29th, (28:23) and sophomore
Scott Barton (Fort Plain, N.Y.) came in 31st (29:17).

Bryan Brown will enter his third season as the head men's cross country coach in the fall of 2013. Brown, who was a former All-American at Springfield College in track, is the reigning NEWMAC Coach of the Year after leading Springfield to its second-straight second-place finish at the conference championships a year ago .
