



Follow Sullivan's Trip On TwitterSpringfield, Mass. - October 18, 2011 - Springfield College head men's volleyball coach Charlie Sullivan will serve as an assistant coach for the United States Men's Volleyball National Team in the Pan-American Games which will be held in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Sullivan will work with the national team's offense during his time in Mexico which will span from October 19-31.
"Any time I get to work with the national team, it is a true honor," said Sullivan. " I look forward to contributing in helping the team achieve success as its ultimate goal."
Sullivan has spent time as an assistant with the United States National Team in several other instances which has allowed him to travel across the world. Some of those stints included coaching the team at the 2009 NORCECA Men's Continental Championship in Bayamon, Puerto Rico and traveling to Japan for the 2007 FIVB World Cup and the 2006 World Championships.
With seven national championships to his credit, Charlie Sullivan will enter his 15th season as head coach of the men's volleyball team in 2013. In 14 previous years at the helm, Sullivan owns an overall record of 224-155 for a .591 winning percentage. Read more.
