Student EmploymentThe Office of Financial Aid coordinates part time, on-campus job opportunities. A wide variety of positions are available in departments throughout the campus. Available positions are posted by the Career Center. The student is responsible for securing employment. Each department is responsible for securing employment. Each department is responsible for its own hiring decisions.
The Career CenterThe Career Center staff can assist students in identifying off-campus, career related positions. These experiences may provide students with the opportunity to earn money while gaining valuable career related experience.
America ReadsThe America Reads tutorial program is coordinated the Office of Student Volunteer Programs. Students in this program are trained as literacy tutors and work in Springfield agencies and schools. Students must be eligible for the federal work study program to participate in America Reads.
Students are encouraged to research the availability of programs from organizations outside of the college. The Office of Financial Aid provides a list of Internet we bites to assist students in this research.
The Springfield College AmeriCorps Program
|The Springfield College AmeriCorps Program is open to all graduate students. Members serve in the local community and receive a monthly stipend and an education award. For more information, visit the AmeriCorps Program at Springfield College Web site.|
