ALUMNI AWARDS TO HONOR LEADERS IN THEIR FIELDS Springfield College will honor four alumni who have distinguished themselves for leadership in their fields, as well as service to others and Springfield College, at the annual Alumni Awards Induction Program during Homecoming Weekend, Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at 6 p.m. in Cheney Hall. SPRINGFIELD COLLEGE TO INDUCT SIX MEMBERS IN ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME Springfield College will induct the 32nd class into its Athletic Hall of Fame on Sat., October 16, during the College's Homecoming Weekend festivities. The six newest members are Miller A. Bugliari '57, Edward Carey '91, Carson "Missy" Wassell Foote '74, William H. Hillman '53, Frank B. Holland '36 (posthumously) and Barbara Jordan '57. Read more.
CHARLIE REDMOND ENSHRINED IN NATIONAL ATHLETIC TRAINERS ASSOCIATION HALL OF FAME Springfield College athletic trainer Charlie Redmond was inducted in the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) Hall of Fame June 18, in Baltimore, Maryland, at the organization's annual Honors and Awards luncheon. This is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon an athletic trainer. Read more.
CONCERTS, THEATRE, ART EXHIBITIONS FREE AT SC THIS FALL Springfield College's fall series of visual and performing arts programs open to the public free of charge will feature a lineup of fine art exhibitions, concerts, theatre productions, fiction and poetry readings by award-winning area authors, and a dance concert by guest artists and student artists.
