Physician Recruitment Coordinator

Position Description:

The Physician Recruitment Coordinator will support our Director, Physician Recruitment. Job responsibilities include: Place ads for Physicians/PAs/APRNs in appropriate journals/newletters/websites and tracking renewal dates Coordinate postcard mailings Update quarterly mailing lists of APRN and PA in the states of CT and MA Pay invoices Reconcile monthly American Express statement Maintain a ¿cost per search¿ expense log Conduct preliminary telephone screenings with physicians on an as needed basis Responsible for Primary Care Physician recruitment prescreening and follow up Coordinate background checks and drug screens and physicals for physicians Responsible for on boarding of physicians, including photo and completion of press release Prepare itineraries for physician interviews Coordinate travel arrangements for physician interviews Responsible for Residency Program Director mailings on an as needed basis Search databases for potential candidates (PracticeLink and HealthEcareers) Responsible for speaking to physicians who contact the office through our toll free number about opportunities currently available The incumbent will work Monday - Friday; 8 a.m. to 4:30 pm.

Desired Skills & Experience Must have strong computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint. Must be able to multi-task and keep accurate records/reports. Strong communication skills is a must. Basic medical terminology is required; the ideal candidate will have worked in a healthcare setting/industry. Candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in an office setting with increasingly challenging responsibilities. High school diploma required; Associates degree preferred
