Description :
Conducts the OT assessment, screening, and evaluation of potential consumers in the Personal Care Management program.
Conducts OT evaluations that accurately reflect the consumer’s functional abilities and need for physical assistance and/or adaptive equipment in performing ADLs and IADLs.
Maintains good working relationship and open communication with doctors and other professionals in the community.
Participates in training and development activities to increase knowledge/skills for continuous strong performances in this position, as well as maintain required licensure.
Minimum Qualifications: Successful completion of an approved Occupational Therapist Education Program. Relevant experience over 1 year up to and including 3 years, one of which has been in community screening preferred. Currently licensed by the Massachusetts Division of Registration in Allied Health Professions and in good standing with the Division of Registration; and currently certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and in good standing with the Board.
Hours of work are between 8 am and 5 pm, M-F.
