Active Part Time; 1 First Shift Days; 10-20 hours a week with possibility to go FT 8:00am-4:30pm; MA PT license required;
Evaluates, directs, plans and treats participants with a wide variety of disabilities to help them achieve a maximum level of functional independence. Documents participant care appropriately in the medical record to comply with the policies and procedures of the department, JCAHO, CARF, hospital requirements and those of MASS. General Law 666. Conducts an in person comprehensive physical therapy assessment on all PACE participants upon enrollment. Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through the completion of an accredited program in Physical Therapy. Licensed by the State of Massachusetts as outlined in Mass. General Law 666. Two years’ experience as a physical therapist, including one year working with the frail or elderly required. Able to function with minimal supervision. Bilingual capabilities preferred. Able to provide a reliable means of transportation.
