Position Description:
| Trauma Advanced Practitioner within the Department of Surgery
Ft 40 Hours
Rotation 13 hour shifts. Weekend/holiday/off shift hours required.
PA requires current CT PA License and Board certification or eligible. APRNs must be nationally certified as an Adult or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, MSN and current CT APRN License or eligible. Critical care, surgery, or trauma experienced preferred. ACLS certification, and the demonstrated ability to positively interact with medical\nursing staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team required.
Provide direct clinical management of the trauma population, in collaboration with the Trauma Attending Physician & other members of the healthcare team.
