Jefferson Radiology, a 60+physician partner-owned Radiology group practice in Hartford, CT, is seeking an experienced PA to be part of our interventional work. Currently, 8 interventional radiologists and 4 mid-level practitioners provide a full spectrum of interventional services at Hartford Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, as well as selected our outpatient offices.
Responsibilities: The PA position is responsible for providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic patient care under the supervision of fellowship trained physician specialists. Current PA’s perform a wide variety of patient care functions including history and physicals, preparing pre-procedure orders, reviewing reports and images with physicians, managing interventional in-patients. Current incumbents perform image-guided procedures and assist in a broad range of procedure room responsibilities.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree plus graduate of a training program approved by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). Current Connecticut license required. Two years of experience strongly preferred, although less will be considered. Preference given to applicants experienced in Interventional procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, PICC lines, biopsies. Requires hard working, motivated, professional who is able to multi-task and eager to learn new skills.
